- Studies have shown that ceritinib can significantly improve progression-free survival (PFS) in patients with ALK-positive NSCLC. It has demonstrated activity in patients who have progressed on crizotinib as well as in crizotinib-naïve patients.
- In the ASCEND-4 trial, ceritinib showed superior efficacy compared to chemotherapy in the first-line treatment of ALK-positive NSCLC, with a median PFS of 16.6 months versus 8.1 months
