Peritoneal Mesothelioma (Causes-2)
Occupational Exposure: Individuals who worked in industries where asbestos exposure was common, such as construction, mining, shipbuilding, manufacturing, and insulation installation, are at higher risk of developing peritoneal mesothelioma. Workers exposed to asbestos on a regular basis, either through direct handling of asbestos-containing materials or through secondary exposure (such as handling contaminated clothing or equipment), are particularly susceptible.
