Etoposide (Postmarketing Experience)

In this article we will discuss Etoposide (Postmarketing Experience)

In this article, we will discuss Etoposide (Postmarketing Experience). So, let’s get started.

Post-Marketing Experience

The following adverse reactions have been identified during post-approval use of etoposide. Because these reactions are reported voluntarily from a population of uncertain size, it is not always possible to reliably estimate their frequency or establish a causal relationship to drug
exposure.

Extravasation
Extravasation, resulting in local soft tissue toxicity, was identified in postmarketing reports. Extravasation of etoposide may result in swelling, pain, cellulitis, and necrosis including skin necrosis.
