Indications

Aminolevulinic acid hydrochloride is indicated in patients with glioma [suspected World Health Organization (WHO) Grades III or IV on preoperative imaging] as an adjunct for the visualization of malignant tissue during surgery.

Dosage

Recommended Dose
• For oral use only
• The recommended oral dose of reconstituted ALA HCl solution is 20 mg / kg body weight. More than 1 vial may be required.
