Alzheimer’s disease (Diagnosis)

Alzheimer’s disease is diagnosed through a combination of medical history, physical and neurological exams, cognitive tests, and brain imaging (such as MRI or CT scans). Doctors may also conduct blood tests and other assessments to rule out other conditions that could cause similar symptoms. In some cases, cerebrospinal fluid analysis or PET scans are used to detect specific biomarkers of Alzheimer’s.
