Pericardial Mesothelioma (Imaging Studies)

  • CT Scan: Provides detailed cross-sectional images of the chest and can reveal thickening of the pericardium, masses, and the extent of disease spread.
  • MRI: Offers high-resolution images of the heart and pericardium, helpful in distinguishing between different types of tissues and identifying tumor characteristics.
