Symptoms of Pericardial Mesothelioma

  • Chest Pain: Patients often experience severe chest pain due to inflammation and fluid buildup around the heart.
  • Shortness of Breath: Fluid accumulation in the pericardium (pericardial effusion) can cause breathing difficulties.
  • Heart Palpitations: Irregular heartbeats and palpitations are common as the disease progresses.
  • Other Symptoms: Fatigue, cough, fever, and weight loss can also occur .
