Clinical Manifestations

1. Cardiovascular

  • Fast and feeble pulse
  • Feeble heart sounds
  • Systolic BP <90 mmHg or a drop of >50 mmHg from the baseline in hypertensive patients and mean arterial pressure (MAP <60 mmHg)

2. Respiratory

  • Tachypnea
  • Cyanosis
  • Cheyne-stokes breathing

3. CNS

  • Listlessness, restlessness
  • Stupor and coma
  • Confusion, disorientation

4. Renal

  • Oliguria (urine output <20 ml/hr)

5. Skin

  • Cold, pale extremities
  • Perspiration
