Peroneus longus muscle
It originates from the head and upper 2/3rd of lateral surface of body of fibula and gets inserted into the lateral surface of base of first metatarsal bone and lateral surface of medial cuneiform, sometimes base of second metatarsal bone. It is innervated by the peroneal nerve and artery supply is through the peroneal artery. It’s chief action is platar flexion and eversion of foot.
