Cluster Headaches: Symptoms & Patterns

Cluster headaches cause severe, one-sided head pain, often around the eye. They typically last from 15 minutes to 3 hours. Other symptoms may include:

  • Watery eyes
  • Runny nose
  • Nasal congestion
  • Drooping eyelid
  • Smaller pupil in the affected eye
  • Facial sweating

Cluster headaches often occur in patterns, with attacks happening daily for weeks or months, followed by periods without headaches
