Pectineus muscle
It originates from the pectineal line of the pubis, from the surface between iliopectineal eminence and pubic tubercle and from the fascia covering the anterior surface of the muscle and gets inserted into the pectineal line of the femur. It is innervated by the femoral nerve, occasionally obturator nerve and artery supply is through the obturator artery. It’s chief action is flexion, adduction and external rotation of hip.
