Anterior interrosseus nerve
It is a branch of median nerve, it’s root value is C8-T1. It innervates deep muscles of anterior part of the forearm viz.
Flexor pollicis longus
Radial half of Flexor digitorum profundus
Pronator Quadratus
Injury to anterior interrosseus nerve leads to Anterior Interrosseus Nerve syndrome. Clinically it is often used as a donor branch to innervate paralysed muscle following ulnar nerve injury.
