Symptoms of Diverticulitis

Symptoms

Lower left quadrant abdominal pain and tenderness, however occasionally right quadrant is painful, especially with Asian descent.

Fever

Nausea and/or vomiting

Diarrhea or Constipation

Occasionally there is also some associated bleeding per rectum and/or hematochezia; however, diverticulitis generally does not cause any GI bleeding

Dysuria and increased urinary frequency
