Sydenham Chorea is a neurological disorder or disease caused due to Group A beta haemolytic Streptococcus bacteria characterised by rapid, irregular, aimless jerky involuntary movements of arms, legs, face and trunk. It usually affects girls more than boys typically occuring between 5-15 years of age.
