Aarskog-Scott Syndrome is a rare inherited genetic disorder characterized by short stature, multiple limb, facial and genital abnormalities like hypertelorism, cleft palate, brachydactyly, clinodactyly, philtrum etc. This disease mainly affects males and they often develop shawl scrotum. Other abnormalities in Aarskog-Scott Syndrome includes Heart defects and less often Cryptorchidism. FDG1 on X Chromosome is associated with Aarskog-Scott Syndrome.
