Formation of CSF
CSF is the clear,odourless fluid present in the brain and spinal cord and is formed from the arterial blood by the choroid plexus of lateral ventricles by the process of diffusion, pinocytosis and active transport mechanism.


Use of CSF
1. It acts as a cushion and buffer to the brain providing basic mechanical and immunological protection to brain inside skull.
2. It also helps in cerebral autoregulation if Cerebral Blood Flow.

If somebody has damaged c5 & c6 and spinal stenosis can it cause a feeling of numbness at the top/back of the scull?
C5-C6 damage and cervical spinal stenosis results in numbness of upper arm radiating till fingers numbness at top/back of skull is due to tightness of fascia because of poor posture and Excessive strain on that portion
