Epidemiological Triad is a tool or model used for explaining the organism causing the disease and the conditions that allows it to reproduce and spread.

CDC defines an outbreak as “the occurrence of more cases of disease,injury or other health condition than expected in a given area or among a specific group of person during a specific period”. In order to investigate how disease spreads and how to combat it, the epidemiological triad is a invaluable tool. It us made up of 3 things- agent, host and environment.
