Alkhurma Haemorrhagic Fever is caused by AHFV virus of family Flavivirus. It is a tick borne viral disease first isolated in the year 1995 from a patient in Saudi Arabia. It has an incubation period of as early as 2-4 days or 3-8 days clinically presented initially with flu-like symptoms that worsen up to its second phase which includes Neurologic and Haemorrhagic Symptoms in severe form which might lead to multi organ failure resulting in death.
