I know knee pain, believe me. Two years ago, I ruptured my ACL and had ACL reconstructive surgery, Six months later, I had a total knee replacement on the other leg, due to horrible bone-on-bone conditions. I am almost fully recovered, but I still experience knee pain every now and then, particularly when the weather changes.
its because of the implant used in the reconstructive surgery and as the weather changes or it tends to be cooler or cloudy the pain aggravates due to muscle arteries etc tends to contract in order to retain heat that causes pain
Thank you. That makes sense.
I know about pain I had a hip replacement because of arthritis …like two rough pieces of . sandpaper rubbing together. …ouch…. My knees are starting ache with age…..I am doing all I can to preserve them for as long as I can.
regular follow ups and regular physiotherapy will extend the durability of your joint and will keep you away from any complications and further pain.
I have found that Hydortherapy is helpful, walking and also stretching exercises. I am also using regular Fish Oil.
yes hydrotherapy is extremely helpful infact stretching along with strengthening does wonders in knee pain
I have Bursitis in my right knee
Go for icing in case of acute pain , ultrasound and knee strengthening exercises .
2 months of elevation and icing already. Perhaps more. Thank you.
since its a chronic case of bursitis its better to go for ultrasound and simultaneous knee strengthening exercise
I see the doctor in 2 weeks so will discuss this with her.
